About Matome
Matome is the founder and director of Mametja and Associates Inc. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
In January 2017, he served his articles of clerkship at Socio Economic Rights Institute of South Africa and later joined LAIC Law Clinic as a legal researcher while waiting to be admitted as an attorney of the High Court.
In June 2019, Matome was appointed as an attorney at Mdhluli, Pearce, Mdzikwa and Associates and promoted to a Senior Attorney position in November 2020 at the same law firm. He was appointed as a committee member at the Gauteng Health Accreditation Committee which is a committee that advises the MEC for Health in Gauteng.
Matome has experience in Lower and Higher Court litigation and he has appeared in various tribunals including the Rental Housing Tribunal, CCMA, Essential Services Committee, and various Bargaining Councils.

Matome is passionate about human rights law, Labour law and possess vast experience in labour law, property law, civil claims, debt collection, insolvency law, administrative law, commercial law, contract drafting and interpretation.
Matome is a fierce and confident legal eagle with over 6 years’ experience in the legal fraternity.
